On Friday 18th June, Terra Virtua, the world’s first fully immersive digital collectibles platform, will kick off 3 days of NFT auctions from the blockbuster movie, Godzilla vs. Kong.
Since the movie and NFT collection launched in March 2021, many of the NFTs have since sold out, with some making their way onto the secondary market, priced at over 15000% higher than the original sale price. ‘I bought the launch poster for $25 and just sold it, 2 months on for $4000’ said a big collector from Terra Virtua.
Gary Bracey, CEO at Terra Virtua, said:
‘The demand we saw for Godzilla vs. Kong NFTs in March was insane and often had people complaining they didn’t manage to get what they wanted, so, with the release on Bluray earlier this week, it makes sense to kick off a renewed push by auctioning each of the enormous titans; Mechagodzilla, Godzilla and Kong.’
The auctions will kick off with Mechagodzilla at 6pm on Friday 18th June for 24 hours. With a reserve price of $50k, this 1 of 1 NFT which is fully animated and includes previously unseen animations it is sure to be a real prized purchase. Godzilla follows on Saturday 19th June at 7pm (BST) for 24 hours and Kong will be the final auction on Sunday 20th June at 8pm (BST) for 24 hours.
In order to bid in the Godzilla vs. Kong fully animated 1 of 1 NFTs users must be registered on Terra Virtua with either a debit or credit card or connect their metamask to their account. If these steps are not taken, any bids made will be removed.
