As compared to its production worth, the total cost of Netflix’s “Squid Game” was $21.4 million, while the current valuation of the show has successfully crossed $800M.

The show is based on characters who enter into a sequence of dangerous gameplay, where the contestants battle with their lives to win prize money worth 45.6 billion won ($38.58 Million). The show has managed to attract audiences across the world and has successfully acquired praise from many film analysts and critics including Amazon‘s Jeff Bezos who has called the show “inspiring and impressive”. The show has also earned immense appreciation for its authentic storyline and heartfelt acting.
As per the reports, Squid Game’s massive popularity has broken records set by Netflix’s “Bridgerton” which was originally streamed by 82 million people in the first 28 days after it was launched on the platform. Citing an internal document secured from Netflix, Bloomberg reports the latest stats that reveal that Squid Game had managed to score 130+ million viewership in just 23 days.

An attorney from the company has told Bloomberg that it would be unsuitable for the platform to share the logistics containing confidential data to be released publically.
