Bitcoin Cold-Wallet Attack Expands to 4,500 Addresses

A sophisticated hacking campaign has spread to over 4,500 Bitcoin addresses as losses approach $89 million. The attacker is exploiting weak keys generated by Coldcard devices, which are used for secure offline storage of cryptocurrencies. Galaxy Research initially identified the threat in November and flagged a second wave of attacks in January.
