Companies Unite Against Quantum Threat to Bitcoin

Nine leading cryptocurrency companies have formed the Quantum Alliance to combat the growing threat of quantum attacks on Bitcoin. At least 6.4 million Bitcoin are currently vulnerable to such attacks. The companies, which include some of the biggest names in the industry, have come together to pool their resources and expertise in an effort to prevent quantum attacks from compromising the security of the Bitcoin network.
