Cosmos Labs has recommended that EVM chains halt operations due to a shared bug that has drained three networks. The recommendation comes six days after a patch was shipped without a security advisory. The patch was meant to address the issue, but it appears to have had unintended consequences. KiiChain, one of the affected chains, has reported a significant loss, with 148 million tokens drained due to the sequence of events. Furthermore, the chain's developers have stated that two of the underlying defects remain unfixed upstream.
